HSE POLICY

HOME   /  HSE POLICY

Benzin is committed to maintain a Safe, Healthy and Sustainable environment wherever we operate – for our people, customers, partners, contractors and the community at large. We aim to protect people’s health, ensure zero injuries and minimize any environmental impact that can happen due to our products and processes. We are committed to achieve these goals through HSE Management System which is in place and being followed in true spirit. HSE compliance is being monitored at our facilities against relevant laws, regulations & international standards. Thus we strongly strive for continual improvement. The commitment to HSE always comes from Top Management. Our Managing Director feels this concept and gives HSE top priority among all other business issues.

PERSONAL SAFTEY

Safety is our top priority. Everyone who works for us, or with us, has an important part to play in making Benzin a safer place to work. We expect them to comply with the safety rules and regulations relevant to their work, to intervene to prevent unsafe conditions, and to respect fellow workers and the communities in which we work.

PROCESS SAFTEY

Process safety starts at the early design phase of building facilities and continues throughout their life cycle, making sure they are operated safely, well maintained, and inspected regularly to identify and deal with any potential process safety hazards.

TRANSPORT SAFTEY

Road transport is a necessary part of many of our business activities. In total Benzin employees and contractors drive almost 1 billion kilometres every year in more than 70 countries – this is equivalent to 70 laps of the earth each day! Our road safety philosophy focuses on the areas of risk such as the capability of the driver, condition of the vehicle, road conditions and local environment. We also try to reduce the need to use road transport in the first place: the safest journey is the one not taken.

EMPLOYEE HEALTH AND WELFARE

We believe that good working and living conditions help to bring about a safer and more productive working environment.
